Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This position is for skilled operators who can work efficiently, safely, and independently while contributing to the overall success of each project. We are looking for professionals who understand job site operations and can anticipate the next phase of work to help keep projects moving forward. Duties Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy equipment, including: Skid Loader, Bulldozer, Excavator, Front End Loader, and Roller Perform routine maintenance and mechanical inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Read and understand site plans, grades, and project specifications. Work closely with project manager, foremen and crew members to maintain productivity and ensure efficient job site operations. Understand the sequence of construction activities and anticipate the next steps in job site progress. Conduct construction site work including excavation, grading, utility locating, paving, and utility installation tasks in accordance with project specifications Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment Support construction site safety protocols by identifying hazards, conducting safety checks, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations Experience Minimum of 10 years of heavy equipment operation experience in construction or related fields Proven expertise in operating a variety of machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes and rollers Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and comprehensive understanding of equipment safety procedures Strong understanding of construction site operations and workflow. Knowledge of aggregates, grading, excavation, and general site development. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with the foreman. Valid CDL required . Reliable transportation and the ability and willingness to commute to various job sites on a daily basis. Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to quality workmanship. This position is for experienced operators only .
