Job Description

Heintz Excavating is growing, and we're looking to add an additional Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and knows how to operate equipment safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, packers and other heavy equipment Perform excavation, grading, site preparation, dirtwork, and material handling Load and move soil, sand, gravel, rock, and other materials Assist with residential and commercial site preparation projects Read and work from jobsite plans, elevations and grade requirements Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality What We're Looking For 3 Years + Heavy equipment operating experience Experience operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, or similar equipment Strong understanding of excavation, grading and site preparation Ability to work independently Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Good communication and a strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license CDL is a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive Pay — Based on Experience, Certifications & Skill Level Locally-owned company with a team-oriented atmosphere Well-maintained equipment Opportunities for additional hours and responsibility Variety of residential and commercial projects The Right Fit We're looking for someone who knows equipment, works hard, pays attention to detail, through communication and takes pride in their work.
