At Dittmer Ditching a heavy equipment operator duties will include operating heavy equipment to complete a variety of projects according to the plans and Dittmer Ditching's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating Dozers, Tractor with Pans, Excavators, and Loaders. Building ponds, lakes, building pads, installing water lines, stormwater systems, and sewer lines. Observing safety codes and OSHA safety regulations at all times. Communicating with coworkers to review project specifications, as needed. Ensuring that the equipment is being maintained. Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency.

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience building pads, installing sewer lines, Storm water systems, and water lines. A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines. Capacity to provide and follow direction and work independently on sites with little to no other persons Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure. Has a diverse knowledge of communication technology and equipment technology in the industry
