Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position involves operating heavy equipment for dirt screening, tree grinding, material handling, and property clearing. The ideal candidate is someone who knows how to operate equipment safely, takes care of the machines they use, and can work independently. Responsibilities Operate equipment for dirt screening, sorting, loading, and moving materials. Operate tree grinders and equipment used for clearing trees, brush, and debris. Operate loaders, excavators, skid steers, dozers, and other heavy equipment as needed. Load and move dirt, trees, mulch, and other materials. Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance. Check fluids, hydraulics, tracks, tires, and other equipment components. Recognize equipment problems and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs. Keep equipment clean and properly maintained. Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment. Work safely around other employees, vehicles, and machinery. Assist with general work and cleanup as needed. Qualifications Previous experience operating heavy equipment. Experience with dirt screening, tree grinding, land clearing, or material handling is a plus. Experience operating loaders, excavators, skid steers, dozers, or similar equipment. Basic knowledge of hydraulics, diesel equipment, and mechanical systems. Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Comfortable using basic hand tools. CDL is a plus. Dependable and able to work independently. Strong focus on safety and taking care of equipment. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with real-world equipment experience who can get on a machine and get the job done. You should be comfortable working outdoors, handling different types of equipment, and dealing with changing conditions throughout the day. Most importantly, we want someone dependable who takes pride in their work and treats the equipment like it's their own.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
