As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a wheel loader to load, unload, move, and stockpile materials while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Job Type:

2+ years preferredDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Wheel Loader Operation Skillfully operate the wheel loader to scoop, lift, transport, and place materials. Accurately position the bucket when loading trucks, stockpiling materials, or filling designated areas. Adjust bucket angle and position to efficiently handle different types of materials. Maintain a slow, controlled, and steady speed while operating the loader. Maintain awareness of surrounding work areas, personnel, trucks, and other equipment. Keep the loader and work area clean and organized. Pre-Shift Inspections & Maintenance Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of the wheel loader. Check fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, safety equipment, and overall operating condition. Perform basic maintenance tasks including greasing, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning the machine. Report any malfunctions, damage, or necessary repairs to maintenance personnel or a supervisor. Take pride in keeping equipment properly maintained. Safety Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Maintain awareness of people and equipment in the surrounding work area. Signal intentions clearly when maneuvering the loader. Maintain a slow and steady operating speed. Maintain a clean and safe working environment both inside the loader and throughout the work area. Use proper safety procedures when entering, exiting, and operating equipment. Site Coordination Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and truck drivers to ensure smooth loading and unloading operations. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding material placement and work priorities. Work cooperatively with the team to keep daily operations running efficiently.REQUIREMENTS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The successful candidate must be able to: Sit for extended periods while operating equipment. Climb in and out of the loader multiple times throughout the day. Use hands and feet continuously for steering, shifting, and operating controls. Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and depth perception. Lift 50-75 pounds for maintenance, tools, or materials as needed. Bend, squat, kneel, crawl, push, pull, and reach as needed. Walk on uneven ground and maintain balance when climbing ladders or equipment. Work in all weather conditions. Have adequate vision and hearing for safe operation around people, trucks, and equipment. Tolerate vibration, noise, and extended work shifts.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
1+ year of wheel loader experience required. 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment operation. Ability to safely and confidently operate a wheel loader in an active work environment. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Must be a team player and work well with others. Must be dependable and willing to follow directions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be safety-minded and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
