Heavy Equipment & Dump Truck Driver Location:

Rolla, Missouri and surrounding area

Full-Time We are an established construction company in the Rolla, Missouri area seeking an experienced CDL-A Lowboy / Heavy Equipment Transport & Dump Truck Driver . We are looking for an experienced driver who can safely transport heavy construction equipment and operate dump trucks as needed. Previous lowboy, heavy-haul, equipment transport, RGN, flatbed, and/or dump truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

Transport excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers and other construction equipment Operate dump trucks to haul rock, gravel, dirt and other construction materials Load and unload construction equipment safely Properly chain, bind and secure equipment Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Understand equipment weight, trailer capacity and proper load placement Safely maneuver trucks and trailers on construction sites Maintain required DOT documentation Follow all DOT and company safety requirements

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL Acceptable driving record Previous lowboy, heavy-equipment transport, heavy-haul, RGN, flatbed and/or dump truck experience Knowledge of chains, binders and proper equipment securement Ability to safely load and unload construction equipment Experience driving and maneuvering dump trucks on construction sites Dependable and safety-conscious Able to work independently and communicate well with project personnel This is an experienced-driver position and is not intended as an entry-level CDL position.
