a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;}tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5;} Full-Time | Benefits Eligible | Statewide Travel Required Capital Materials Quarries is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our Traveling Stripping Crew. This position is based out of Sedalia, Missouri and requires travel to quarry locations across the state of Missouri. Hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement are provided for travel assignments. This is a full-time, year-round position working outdoors in quarry environments.
Responsibilities:
Operate excavators for stripping overburden and material removal Perform digging, grading, and material handling to support production goals Safely operate equipment in various weather and site conditions (dust, heat, noise, uneven terrain) Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance on equipment Work with the foreman and crew to complete daily work plans Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operation near personnel and other equipment Perform general labor duties as needed Complete other tasks as assigned by management a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;}tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5;}
Requirements:
Willingness to travel throughout Missouri (week-to-week assignments) and work weekends as needed Experience operating excavators in quarry, construction, or heavy civil environments preferred Strong understanding of equipment operation and jobsite safety practices Ability to work outdoors in changing conditions Valid driver's license Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Additional Information:
