Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure, commercial projects, and large-scale developments. In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of construction machinery with precision and safety, ensuring efficient project progress. Your expertise will contribute to safe, timely, and high-quality construction outcomes. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive on hands-on work and are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards on site. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to perform earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation tasks Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating machinery and handling materials Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by handling materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or front loader trucks Perform precise material handling operations including loading/unloading trucks, transporting materials across the site, and managing concrete mixers when required Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety checks Collaborate with team members to coordinate machinery operation with other construction activities for seamless project execution Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, cranes (including crane operation), backhoes, and other material handling equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and basic equipment maintenance procedures Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving commercial trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks or tankers Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and occupational safety regulation compliance Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge Construction site experience with familiarity in concrete mixing operations and farm machinery is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us to be part of a dedicated crew committed to building excellence!
