Occasional clean-outs may provide an additional 20 hours Position Overview BBSI is assisting our client in recruiting a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to support a government contract facility in Medford, Oregon. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced janitorial professional who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards. Because this position supports a government contract, candidates must meet specific identification, vehicle, screening, and government clearance requirements. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize assigned offices, common areas, restrooms, and facility spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed Perform detailed cleaning and occasional facility clean-outs Properly operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies Safely load, transport, and use cleaning equipment Pull and maneuver a trailer containing cleaning equipment Follow established cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and government contract standards Complete all assigned work thoroughly and with strong attention to detail Work independently and manage cleaning responsibilities efficiently
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
These are must-have requirements for this position: Previous professional janitorial or commercial cleaning experience Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently Valid driver's license and good driving record Must have a ½-ton (1500-series) pickup truck or larger Must be comfortable pulling and maneuvering a trailer with cleaning equipment Must have the ability to safely load, transport, and handle cleaning equipment Must possess a government-acceptable Real ID and original/certified birth certificate for the required government clearance process Must be able to successfully complete all required government screening and clearance requirements Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check Government Clearance Requirement This position is performed under a government contract. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the required screening and government security clearance process . Candidates must be prepared to provide the required identification and documentation for the clearance process, including a government-acceptable Real ID and birth certificate . The clearance process can take approximately 2-6 weeks , and candidates should be prepared for this timeline before beginning work. Schedule & Hours $20.00 per hour Up to 18 hours per week Regular workdays: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Hours will be scheduled within those days based on the facility's cleaning requirements Additional hours may occasionally be available for special clean-outs, potentially providing up to an additional 20 hours Part-time position with the potential for additional hours based on client needs What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, experienced, and takes ownership of their work .
