Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Equipment Operators to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support excavation, grading, utility work, and site development projects. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision. Pay based on experience. Must have atleast 5 years experience. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and off-road trucks to perform excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks. Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with federal construction safety regulations. Utilize utility locating tools and techniques to accurately identify underground utilities before excavation begins, preventing damage and ensuring safety. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, construction site protocols, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards. Assist with construction utility work including trenching, backfilling, and site preparation activities. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections for accountability and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently across multiple projects while adhering to project timelines. Skills Proven experience operating construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment. Ability to perform construction grading accurately using appropriate equipment. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Familiarity with utility locating techniques to identify underground utilities prior to excavation work. Construction site experience with a focus on utility work, excavation, and general site preparation. Excellent understanding of construction machinery maintenance schedules and procedures. Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience operating loaders, excavators, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment. Join us in building infrastructure that makes a difference!
