In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery to facilitate building projects, site preparation, and material handling. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to contribute to successful construction outcomes. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks to perform site excavation, grading, lifting, and material transport tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating equipment and handling materials on-site. Use hand tools and hydraulics systems to assist with equipment repairs or adjustments as needed. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and ensure project timelines are met. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with heavy equipment operation in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to operate construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other material handling equipment like Caterpillar or similar brands. Familiarity with safety procedures involving personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment safety protocols, and occupational safety regulation compliance. Strong understanding of construction experience requirements with knowledge of various hand tools. Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and safety awareness.
