The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders to assist with various tasks such as construction grading, equipment safety, and maintenance. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and precision to support our ongoing projects. The successful applicant will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations on-site while adhering to all safety procedures. Responsibilities Operate skid steer loaders to perform construction grading, site preparation, and material handling tasks efficiently and safely. Assist with tree service operations by maneuvering equipment in tight or challenging spaces. Follow all equipment safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Conduct routine maintenance checks on skid steer equipment, including inspecting fluid levels, hydraulic systems, and attachments to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks related to commercial truck driving and other site activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operation and maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in a construction or tree service environment. Knowledge of construction grading techniques and equipment safety procedures. Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid certification or licensing related to heavy machinery operation is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Pay:
