division is currently seeking a Engineering Supervisor-Clutch. This is a full time, on-site position based at our Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available for those residing within the US/PR. The Engineering Supervisor provides direction to the Manufacturing Engineering team in support of manufacturing assembly processes. This includes directly managing a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians to provide coverage for a 24/7 operation. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. ## What you'll do:- Develop, monitor, improve and maintain manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Obtain print deviations from divisional Product Engineering and coordinate deviations at plant level.
- Maintain communication with divisional departments.
- Maintain a constant search for identifiable and measurable cost reductions through process improvements, scrap analysis and technology applications.
- Implement and deploy actions to ensure compliance with
ISO, IATF, OSHA
regulations, MESH and all Federal, State, and Local laws as they apply to their areas of responsibility.- Develop and utilize PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions as needed.
- Build organizational capability of the manufacturing engineering team through effective goal setting, development plans, stretch assignments, and performance reviews. Provide powerful feedback on both a formal and informal basis, and conduct timely one-on-one discussions with direct reports to review performance, development, and career motivations.
- Effective process management through process design, improvement and ownership including leading the management of change MOC and MCO processes for Clutch Manufacturing
- Direct engineering team in the launch of new products through the use of PROLaunch processes
- Improve manufacturing/assembly efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, equipment layouts, and human/machine interface
- Work with operations team to solve problems through root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and six sigma tools
- Support continuous improvement through effective deployment of assessment and lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, RIE's, A3's, WSRA's, and other EBS tools.
- Drive consistency and effectiveness in team output by standardizing the work of team members and holding team members accountable. Address employee performance concerns when necessary.
- Maintain work area housekeeping and assist in department / team housekeeping efforts.
- Adhere to plant policies and procedures as well as ensure adherence to plant policies and procedures by team members.
- Update monthly Engineering-related BSC and other metrics as required.
- Participate as required in general plant and departmental communication.
- Participate in capital planning, investigate equipment alternatives, prepare appropriation justifications, implement equipment, and evaluate results.
- Introduce new technology in the form of new machines, processes, and control systems
- Participate and assist in meeting all plant Environmental Health and Safety objectives.
- Establish a timely response for corrective actions to help drive continuous improvement through the
ISO-14001
Environmental Management Program. ##Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum three (3) years experience in an engineering role
- Minimum six (6) months experience in an engineering team leader position

Skills:
- Capability to conduct time studies and implement solutions for bottleneck improvements and line balancing
- Working knowledge and experience in all aspects of manufacturing, i.e. knowledge and operation of machine tools, assembly, blue print reading, geometric, work measurement, and working within a structured team environment.
- Knowledge of the financial side of the business, i.e. departmental budgets, capital planning, profit plan, and production measurement systems.
- Knowledge of environmental laws and O.S.H.A. rules and regulation.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge, including the ability to lead kaizen events.
- Capability to Develop and utilize PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions as needed.
