Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment such as hydraulic systems, mechanical parts, and safety features to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while using personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure work environment. Assist with site preparation activities including site clearing, leveling, trenching, and loading/unloading materials with precision. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety checks in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations smoothly while adhering to project timelines and safety standards. Experience Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other material handling equipment on construction sites. Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems, construction site safety procedures, and occupational health regulations related to heavy equipment use. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including concrete mixing operations and general construction tasks. Mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance on heavy machinery and troubleshooting operational issues efficiently. Familiarity with hand tools used in construction environments for minor repairs or adjustments on equipment. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
