Job Description
Re-roller operator Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks prior to rolling product
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Roll products into desired lengths based on customer specifications.
- Meet daily production quotas
- Produces the required quantity of products within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measures finished product with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Follows 6S lean manufacturing standards Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations. Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time. Will use cranes to lift and move products.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect products produced.
