Job Description
CBC Site Development is seeking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer for several ongoing utility projects. Applicants with a strong work ethic, coachability, and team first attitude are encouraged to apply. CBC is family owned and operated out of Waxhaw, NC. Duties:
- Operate off road haul trucks, roller and other types of heavy equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and lifting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
