Job Description

CBC Site Development is seeking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer for several ongoing utility projects. Applicants with a strong work ethic, coachability, and team first attitude are encouraged to apply. CBC is family owned and operated out of Waxhaw, NC. We're a small, tight-knit company who places value on our team's effort, time, and personal goals. We take pride in the products we deliver to our customers, and guarantee high quality, clean work.
Duties:
  • Operate off road haul trucks, roller and other types of heavy equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
