Job Description

Clifty Group LLC is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support pipeline construction projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment and performing excavation, backfilling, clean-up, material handling, and other pipeline construction activities. Pay will be based on experience and demonstrated operating ability. $28/hour
Operator:
Experienced operating equipment such as dozers, blades, excavators/track hoes, skid steers, and loaders. Must be capable of performing backfilling, tie-ins, clean-up, ditch work, and general pipeline construction tasks. $30/hour
Operator:
Must meet the qualifications above and have demonstrated experience safely excavating around and digging hot lines/live utilities. Equipment Experience Candidates should have experience operating several of the following: Excavator / Track Hoe Dozer Motor Grader / Blade Skid Steer Loader Essential Duties & Responsibilities Dig and maintain pipeline ditches. Safely excavate around existing utilities and congested areas. Perform hot-line excavation when qualified and assigned. Lower in HDPE, FlexSteel, and steel pipe. Perform backfilling, tie-in support, and clean-up work. Work safely around congested areas, pads, and rights-of-way (ROW). Load and offload materials and pipe. Operate Outlaw and AULU buckets when required. Complete daily pre-use equipment inspections. Report equipment defects and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed. Maintain equipment cleanliness inside and out. Perform basic equipment upkeep and grease equipment daily or as required. Follow project specifications, company procedures, and One Call/utility locate requirements. Follow all excavation, utility avoidance, and jobsite safety requirements. Perform additional equipment or construction tasks as assigned based on project needs. Qualifications Previous heavy equipment operating experience in pipeline, utility, civil, or similar construction. Ability to safely operate multiple pieces of heavy equipment. Pipeline excavation and backfilling experience strongly preferred. Experience working around existing utilities and congested work areas. Ability to understand and follow utility locates and excavation requirements. Strong commitment to jobsite and equipment safety. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions. Must have an acceptable driving record in accordance with company requirements when applicable. Truck Pay Requirements Employees who qualify for truck pay must: Provide a personal vehicle equipped with a 75-100 gallon fuel drag tank . Have a grease gun available. Maintain an acceptable driving record according to company requirements. Maintain required automobile insurance coverage. Truck Pay Insurance Requirements Minimum coverage must meet one of the following: $300,000 Combined Single Limit , OR $100,000 Bodily Injury per person $300,000 Bodily Injury per accident $100,000 Property Damage per accident What We're Looking For We are looking for dependable, safety-minded operators who can do more than simply run equipment. The right candidate understands pipeline construction, takes care of company equipment, can work efficiently with the crew, and is willing to assist with other jobsite tasks when needed.
