Job Description
Excavating Equipment Operator Position Details Operate a variety of heavy equipment to accomplish difficult or highly complex tasks Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs Maintains records of time worked and materials used Performs other related duties as assigned Competitive wages based on experience 40+ hours per week during spring, summer, and fall Required Skills/Abilities The operator must have experience running equipment Experience in rigging and moving heavy objects on the job site Valid driver's license Class A license is preferred, however not required Knowledge of soils and compaction Ability to read construction staking or the willingness to learn A basic understanding of plan reading or the willingness to learn Basic construction surveying knowledge or the willingness to learn Willingness to understand and accept safety standards Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form Must maintain flexibility in the schedule during the busy season Willingness to work hard and be reliable Benefits Health, Dental and Vision insurance with optional Health Savings Account (HSA) USAble Supplemental Insurances (Cancer, Short-term Disability, Accident and Life Insurance) Retirement plan with company match up to 3.5% Employer-Paid Life Insurance
