Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic excavation team. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including dozers, graders, rollers, loaders, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to move materials and perform site preparation tasks Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulation guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials Assist with material handling using specialized equipment such as forklifts, water trucks, tanker trucks, and roll-off trucks Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials Skills Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of construction machinery operation and safety procedures Willingness to do more than sit in the seat, and help out with miscellaneous ground labor tasks. Proficiency in operating various heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, cranes, backhoes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on construction machinery Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts with confidence and precision Strong understanding of hydraulics systems used in heavy machinery for efficient operation Knowledge of occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites Skilled in the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments on equipment Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred Join us in building something great!
