Heavy Equipment Operator - Dozer & Excavator K Logix Talent LLC Omaha, NE Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Heavy lifting Outdoor work experience Driver's License Full Job Description About the opportunity: A local, established construction and excavation company is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join its team. We're looking for someone with experience operating bulldozers and excavators . Candidates with a strong background in construction, excavation, dirt work, or site development will also be considered. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity working on residential and commercial projects throughout the Omaha metro area. Experience with GPS/3D machine control or grade-control systems is a strong plus. What you'll do Operate bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, and site preparation Move and spread dirt, gravel, rock, and other materials Grade and work to elevations, stakes, and site plans Utilize GPS/3D machine-control systems when applicable Perform daily equipment inspections and basic equipment maintenance Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Work alongside a crew to complete projects efficiently and accurately Assist with other construction tasks as needed What we're looking for Experience operating bulldozers and/or excavators preferred Construction, excavation, dirt work, or site-development experience GPS/3D machine-control or grade-control experience preferred Valid driver's license Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Able to take direction and work well with a crew Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform the physical requirements of the position Safety-conscious and committed to quality work Compensation & schedule $22-$25/hour , based on experience Overtime available Full-time Year-round work Local work throughout the Omaha metro area Interested?
