The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for various tasks related to excavation and site preparation. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to work efficiently and safely in various environments. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including bulldozers and backhoes, to perform excavation tasks. Execute horizontal drilling operations as required for utility installations. Dig trenches, foundations, and other necessary excavations while adhering to safety protocols. Transport materials using dump trucks and tankers as needed on-site. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate excavation activities and ensure project timelines are met. Pave surfaces as required, ensuring quality workmanship in all tasks performed. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements. A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are advantageous.
