Job Description
Overview Advanced Septic Pros are seeking a motivated and dependable Equipment Operator to join our septic system installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and performing essential tasks to support septic system and utility construction. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help ensure smooth operations on-site, contributing to successful project completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills and grow with an established company. CDL License is a plus. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, & excavators to move materials, prepare sites, and assist with septic system installation. Drive and manage various trucks to transport materials and debris efficiently Assist with site preparation by performing manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and material handling Maintain equipment by conducting routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to promote a secure work environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards Qualifications Prior experience operating excavator is highly preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is desirable for operating large vehicles like dump trucks or tanker trucks. Good driving record (MVD) is essential. Knowledge of construction safety practices and proper equipment handling procedures Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
