Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic environmental team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of construction machinery and heavy equipment to support each project. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and precise equipment operation, contributing directly to project success and safety compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence in environmental remediation. Duties Operate construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks to perform tasks such as earthmoving, material handling, and site grading Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating heavy machinery and handling materials Assist with the setup and breakdown of project sites by moving materials using appropriate equipment such as shovels and pick axes Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks Collaborate with team members to coordinate material delivery and site operations efficiently Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety protocols during daily tasks Requirements Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment on construction sites Valid driver's license Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on equipment Familiarity with hydraulic systems and the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and material handling procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency Strong understanding of occupational safety regulation compliance including PPE use and hazard awareness Join us if you're eager to operate cutting-edge construction machinery in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact! Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
