We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment and support daily field operations on heavy civil construction projects. What You'll Do Safely operate heavy construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other equipment as assigned. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance, mechanical, or safety concerns. Excavate, grade, load, backfill, compact, and move materials based on project requirements. Follow grade stakes, site plans, and supervisor direction to complete assigned work accurately and efficiently. Work safely around ground personnel, other equipment, utilities, excavations, and active work zones. Assist with general site activities and support field crews based on project needs. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Follow all company, project, and site-specific safety requirements. What You Bring Ability to safely and efficiently operate heavy construction equipment. Strong awareness of construction hazards, equipment blind spots, and safe operating practices. Ability to follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor direction. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, spotters, and ground personnel. Dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a field crew. Willingness to operate multiple types of equipment and assist with other site tasks as needed. Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions, including rough or uneven terrain. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Education | Experience Previous heavy equipment operating experience strongly preferred. Experience in heavy civil construction, site development, excavation, grading, or similar field construction work strongly preferred. Experience operating multiple types of heavy construction equipment preferred. Valid driver's license and applicable equipment certifications preferred, where required. Authorization to work in the United States.
