Duties Operate heavy-duty rotator tow trucks with precision, ensuring safe and efficient vehicle recovery and transportation Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before towing, including basic mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics Secure vehicles onto flatbeds or other tow truck configurations using cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Perform minor mechanical repairs or adjustments as needed to facilitate vehicle recovery or transport Follow all safety guidelines related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle loading onto tow trucks, including manual transmission operation and mechanical knowledge of trucks Manage vehicle recovery towing operations, including accident scene management and complex recoveries involving multiple vehicles Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely service delivery Experience Proven experience operating heavy-duty tow trucks, especially rotator or crane-equipped models Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred Familiarity with cargo securement protocols, flatbed operations, and safe vehicle loading procedures Mechanical experience with truck mechanics for drivers, including minor mechanical repairs and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally while maintaining excellent customer service standards Experience with forklift operation or related equipment is a plus but not mandatory Join us as a Heavy Duty Tow Truck Rotator Driver and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in vehicle recovery!
