Heavy Equipment Operator Muller Construction Las Vegas, NV Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time $22 - $27 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications OSHA 10 Occupational Safety And Health Administration Outreach Training Program 30-Hour Driver's License Loader operation Skid steer loader Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team for projects throughout the Las Vegas area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience safely operating construction equipment on civil, public works, site development, residential, and building projects . Duties Safely operate heavy construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and other earthmoving equipment . Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, loading, and site preparation. Work around underground utilities, structures, crews, and other equipment. Follow project plans, grades, elevations, and instructions from Foremen and Superintendents. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain equipment in clean and safe operating condition. Assist with general construction activities when equipment operation is not required. Coordinate with laborers, pipe crews, concrete crews, and other trades. Follow OSHA requirements and all company and project-specific safety procedures. Maintain safe operations on active public works and construction jobsites. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred . Experience in civil construction, excavation, grading, underground utilities, concrete, or public works projects strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to safely operate multiple types of construction equipment. Ability to understand grades, elevations, and basic construction plans. Knowledge of jobsite safety and equipment inspection procedures. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a construction crew. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. Equipment certifications are a plus.
Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience, equipment proficiency, and applicable project requirements. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
