Nexeo Staffing is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team of our esteemed partner in Las Vegas, NV. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, or working in outdoor industrial environments who thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced setting. In this role, you will operate specialized equipment, transport large materials throughout the facility, support production and shipping operations, and help maintain a safe and productive workplace. Responsibilities Operate specialized heavy equipment and forklifts safely and efficiently. Move and transport large rolled steel tubes throughout the facility. Load, unload, organize, and stage materials for production and shipping. Follow workplace safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. Assist with general material handling and production support as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain productivity and quality standards. Qualifications Previous equipment operator, forklift operator, heavy equipment operator, construction laborer, or material handling experience preferred. Experience operating a Hyster 280 or Hyster 360 forklift strongly preferred. Construction industry experience is a plus. Outdoor work experience is beneficial. Ability to work safely around large and heavy materials. Strong attention to safety and workplace procedures. Reliable attendance and dependability required. Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift. Comfortable lifting, moving, and handling heavy materials. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods. Must be comfortable working in hot and cold weather conditions. Drug screen required, including THC.
