One year of experience in the operation of some type of automotive equipment.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS
Must possess a NYS CDL B or higher.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
(S): Town of Owasco Highway Department is seeking applications for the position of MEO (Motor Equipment Operator).Requirements:
- Must have a valid CDL license without restrictions;
- Must pass drug and alcohol test;
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate a payloader, backhoe and an excavator is a plus, but not mandatory;
- Good knowledge of the operation of trucks, tractors and other types of automotive equipment;
- Ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Industry and dependability;
- Good physical condition.
