MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
One year of experience in the operation of some type of automotive equipment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS
Must possess a NYS CDL B or higher.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
(S): Town of Victory Highway Department is seeking applications for the position of MEO (Motor Equipment Operator).
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid CDL license without restrictions;
  • Must pass drug and alcohol test;
  • Mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate a payloader, backhoe and an excavator is a plus, but not mandatory;
  • Good knowledge of the operation of trucks, tractors and other types of automotive equipment;
  • Ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions;
  • Mechanical aptitude;
  • Industry and dependability;
  • Good physical condition.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time position, 40 hrs/wk.
COMPENSATION
$25.29/hr.
