Job Description
Dalrymple Gravel & Contracting is seeking applications for a laborer/equipment operator that is full time but seasonal for the upcoming construction season in Elmira, NY. In this position you will be expected to perform both physical labor and operate equipment on a daily basis. We are looking for some experience but will also train an employee that has an outstanding attitude and work ethic. The applicant will be hand shoveling, heavy lifting, washing with high pressure hoses, climbing, crawling, swinging heavy hammers, operating wheel loaders, operating heavy haul articulating dump trucks, greasing equipment daily and washing equipment daily. You must be able to be on time everyday ready to work and be able to stay late for overtime as well as some Saturday hours. You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
