In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating snow loading and removal equipment to ensure safe, accessible, and well-maintained grounds. Your energetic approach will help keep outdoor spaces functional and visually appealing despite challenging winter conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your outdoor work experience and mechanical skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to groundskeeping excellence. Duties Operate snow loader equipment, including front-end loaders and skid steers, to efficiently load snow from designated areas Assist with snow removal and ground clearing using appropriate machinery and hand tools, ensuring pathways, driveways, and parking lots are safe and accessible Conduct routine inspections of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, performing basic maintenance and safety checks before use Support landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, and irrigation system management during winter downtime or in conjunction with snow operations Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to assist with landscape upkeep and ensure proper care during seasonal changes Follow safety protocols diligently while operating power tools, groundkeeping equipment, and handling hazardous materials like pesticides or fertilizers when necessary Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, safety inspections, and work completed for accountability and continuous improvement Experience Previous outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related fields is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment operation—including loaders, mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems—is essential Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, lawn care, hardscape installation, and gardening techniques Knowledge of pesticide management regulations and safety procedures is a plus Ability to identify various plants and horticultural elements to support seasonal landscape adjustments Strong adherence to safety protocols when operating power tools or handling chemicals in outdoor environments Experience working outdoors in winter conditions or in environments requiring grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation Join our team to help maintain beautiful outdoor spaces year-round!
