Job Description

Residential Construction Site Foreman/ Machine Operator Join Our Team We are a growing residential construction company seeking an experienced, motivated Site Foreman to lead field operations while operating heavy equipment on residential construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and enjoys being part of a team that builds exceptional homes from the ground up. Responsibilities Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including: Excavators Skid steers Bulldozers Dump trucks Perform site clearing, grading, excavation, and backfilling. Install residential utilities, including water, sewer, and septic systems. Read and interpret site plans and construction drawings. Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely. Work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating with crew members and subcontractors. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Assist with manual labor as needed to keep projects moving. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Qualifications Extensive experience in residential site development and excavation. Proven experience operating excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and dump trucks.
Strong knowledge of:
Site clearing Excavation Backfilling Utility installation Septic system installation Ability to lead by example and work alongside the crew. Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. Dependable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications New York State Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) preferred. OSHA certifications are a plus.
