Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. You will be responsible for operating a variety of excavation and construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and wheel-loaders. We are a small construction business that works on a variety of private and public sector projects.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and wheel-loaders Inspect trucks before and after use Observe and report and issues with the equipment Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Proven experience- At least 3 years with operating heavy equipment in a construction setting. Operational knowledge of various types of construction equipment. Experience with sewer installations, storm drainage, and site development. Ability to work within a 25-mile radius of Albany, NY Strong work ethic Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course Ability to handle physical workload Strong attention to detail and safety protocols CDL-A is a plus
