$30.00

Experience:
Experienced equipment operator required When winter weather hits, our commercial clients still need to operate. Parking lots, access roads, loading areas, and other critical areas have to be cleared so employees can get to work, customers can get through safely, and businesses can keep moving. We're looking for experienced Loader and Skid Steer Operators to join our Snow Operations team. You'll operate heavy equipment to move and remove snow at commercial properties throughout the Rochester area. This is hands-on winter work for someone who knows how to operate equipment safely, efficiently, and confidently in challenging conditions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate large wheel loaders and skid steers to clear, move, stack, and load snow Use buckets, snow pushers, plows, and other attachments to efficiently clear parking lots, roadways, loading areas, and access points Maintain clear and safe access throughout commercial client properties during snow events Work around buildings, parked vehicles, curbs, islands, loading docks, and other obstacles while operating equipment Build and manage snow piles in designated areas Load out and relocate snow when required Perform pre
•and post-event equipment inspections and report any equipment concerns Follow established site plans, safety procedures, and directions from the Snow Operations Manager Work as part of a coordinated snow operations crew during active weather events
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experienced heavy equipment operator with demonstrated experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment Confident operating equipment in tight areas and around vehicles, buildings, and other obstacles Ability to safely operate equipment in winter weather, including snow, ice, reduced visibility, and overnight conditions Ability to work independently while following site-specific instructions and snow removal plans Dependable and available for call-outs when winter weather requires operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong awareness of surroundings and a commitment to safe equipment operation Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential equipment issues Valid driver's license preferred No CDL required
WORK LOCATION
Crews are assigned to commercial client locations throughout the Rochester, NY area, with assignments generally selected based on proximity to your home. Snow Operations team members are also first in line to be considered for Green Season opportunities if they are interested in additional work during the rest of the year. Green Season work is managed separately from Snow Operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is physically demanding outdoor work in winter conditions.
Operators must be able to:
Sit and operate heavy equipment for extended periods Safely enter and exit loaders and skid steers repeatedly Work outdoors for extended periods in cold, wind, snow, and active precipitation Walk on snow
•and ice-covered and uneven surfaces as needed Occasionally lift and carry equipment, materials, or other items Climb steps and equipment access points safely Wear required PPE for the duration of the shift Work overnight and extended shifts when weather conditions require it
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This is an on-call, seasonal position . Work is driven by weather conditions, and operators must be available when snow events require crews to mobilize. Shifts may occur during the day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
