$27-40 hourlySHIFT:
APPLICANTS MUST BE RELIABLE AND WILLING TO SHOW UP WHEN NEEDED AT ANY TIME DURING THE DAY OR NIGHT. ROLE SUMMARY
Our Operators are responsible for safely operating our skid steers and loaders equipped with a snowblower and/or pusher attachments. Employees must be on standby before and during storms to be on side as needed. You will follow the orders of the Site Manager, and work with other Operators and Shovelers on site.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to efficiently and safely operate a skid steer and/or loader with a snowblower attachment and/or a pushbox 100% committment to be available and committed to work on an on-call basis with irregular hours the entire winter season with very short notice at all times in the day, nights and holidays. Able to inspect equipment findings as needed. Understand storm processes, push plans, priority area management, and how to effectively & efficiently clear a property timely Accurately follow directions of a Site Manager. Log every service on your log sheet. Read emails, texts, answer phone calls timely with 24/7 availability during winter storms, high winds, and ice watch events Hand/eye coordination with depth perception is critically important. Must have knowledge of safety rules and equipment operating regulations. Must be comfortable communicating effectively with coworkers and supervision of others, through leading them to success. Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environmentJOB QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience operating skid steers, loaders, or similar heavy equipment. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in active work areas. Experience with snow removal, landscaping, construction, or property maintenance preferred. Ability to load, move, grade, and transport materials such as snow, soil, mulch, gravel, and debris. Knowledge of basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance. Ability to identify and report equipment damage or mechanical issues. Comfortable working outdoors in cold temperatures and severe weather conditions. Available for overnight, early-morning, weekend, and on-call shifts during snow events. Ability to follow site maps, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions. Strong awareness of surroundings, including pedestrians, vehicles, buildings, and other equipment. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. OSHA certification or other relevant equipment certification is a plus. Must be able to pass any required background check, drug screening, or equipment-competency evaluation.BENEFITS
