Equipment Operator / Laborer - JLG Lift & Telehandler Position Overview Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer to support construction projects through safe operation of material-handling and heavy construction equipment. The role will focus primarily on utilizing JLG lifts and telehandlers. The position combines equipment operation, material handling, jobsite support, equipment inspections, and basic maintenance. The successful candidate will follow established safety procedures, maintain equipment records, and work with the construction team to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Equipment Operator/Laborer Key Responsibilities Operate JLG lifts, telehandlers, all-terrain forklifts Move, load, unload, and position construction materials throughout the jobsite. Follow jobsite safety procedures, equipment operating requirements, and PPE requirements. Assist with site setup, including unloading materials and preparing work areas. Maintain equipment-use, inspection, and maintenance logs accurately. Identify and communicate jobsite hazards and equipment concerns to appropriate team members. Support other construction activities and material-handling needs as assigned. Work with project team members to complete assigned tasks while maintaining safety and quality requirements. Equipment Operator/Laborer Required Qualifications Previous JLG/Telehandler experience on commercial sites (if not already certified, we will pay and get you certified on site) Familiarity with PPE requirements and construction-site hazard awareness. Ability to safely handle and move construction materials. MUST be willing to do general labor tasks when not operating equipment Ability to work as part of a construction team in an active jobsite environment.
