Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a focus on CAT controls! In this energized role, you'll be at the forefront of heavy machinery operation, ensuring efficient and safe execution of loading trucks. Responsibilities Experienced Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to perform site excavation, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Utilize CAT controls for precise machine operation, ensuring accuracy in grading and earthmoving activities. Manage multiple types of trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, , and farm machinery to transport materials efficiently across the site. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines effectively. Assist with setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and clearing debris as needed. Requirements Proven Experience operating heavy construction equipment on active sites with a strong understanding of construction processes. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers. Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment controls is preferred; certification is a plus. Ability to operate multiple types of machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery confidently. Strong knowledge of safety standards in construction environments and commitment to maintaining a safe work site.
