Responsibilities Load and unload junk, debris, and waste materials from trucks using manual lifting techniques and mechanical equipment. Operate various trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, flatbed, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers with skill and safety awareness. Drive commercial vehicles such as front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds to pick up and deliver materials across different locations. Use mechanical knowledge to assist with the operation of heavy-duty equipment and ensure proper handling of loads. Load materials onto trucks securely to prevent shifting during transit; unload at disposal sites or designated locations. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on-site by following proper procedures for load management and equipment use. Assist team members with heavy lifting tasks; support the overall efficiency of the crew during busy periods. Experience Prior experience operating commercial trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, or dump trucks is highly preferred. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Experience with manual transmission vehicles and tractor-trailers is advantageous. Proven ability to load & unload efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures in waste removal or construction environments.
