THIS IS A
2nd
SHIFT POSITION ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Safely operates powered stand-up and sit down industrial delivery equipment. Drives a standardized route to pick-up and deliver small totes of materials for all plant departments Ensures all assembly operations are adequately stocked to prevent part shortages and downtime. Works closely with Area Managers and Team Leaders to ensure overall effectiveness of the delivery system. Effectively communicates part shortages and other critical information to the appropriate leaders throughout the facility. Moves materials in amounts to avoid personal injury, or damage to equipment, material, product, or the facility. Interprets labels to ensure proper disposition of materials. Effectively manages battery supply to avoid unplanned downtime of the Tugger. Maintains proper records. Performs daily shift inspection checks to make sure the Tugger is in proper working condition. Reports any safety or mechanical problems with the Tugger to an Area Manager or Team Leader. Adheres to all safety regulations. Treats all team members with respect and dignity. Performs other essential functions as assigned.
