Labor Operator Road Department

Job Summary Join our Road Department as a Labor Operator dedicated to maintaining and improving our community's roadways. You will operate heavy equipment and assist with construction, paving, and maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient roadways. Your hands-on expertise will help keep roads in top condition, supporting the mobility and safety of all road users. Class A CDL - Required Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks to perform plowing, excavation, grading, and paving tasks. Support paving operations by preparing surfaces, laying asphalt, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. Maintain safety protocols on-site by inspecting equipment, adhering to safety guidelines, and reporting hazards promptly. Perform routine maintenance on machinery like loaders, graders, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal operation. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks. Knowledge of construction site procedures and safety standards Class A CDL -

Required Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
