Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery to assist in building infrastructure, managing site logistics, and ensuring project safety and efficiency. Your expertise will help drive successful project completion while maintaining high standards of safety and equipment care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your skills in heavy equipment operation and site management. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to perform earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety regulations and occupational safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with material handling using specialized equipment such as concrete mixers, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery as needed. Coordinate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with company policies. Support site logistics by safely transporting materials and equipment around the construction site or between locations using commercial trucks. Skills Proven experience operating a wide range of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes (including crane operation), and other material handling equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and routine maintenance procedures for heavy equipment. Ability to interpret construction plans and blueprints for precise machine operation. Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Skilled in the use of hand tools and basic repairs to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues promptly. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving various types of trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or farm machinery. Excellent understanding of occupational safety regulation compliance and best practices for equipment safety procedures. Join us in building the future with energy and precision!
