In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy-duty construction and transportation equipment to support highway maintenance, road building, and civil infrastructure development. Duties Operate a range of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, front loader trucks, and paving machinery to support construction and roadway projects Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Execute road construction tasks such as grading, paving, excavation, and heavy lifting with precision and efficiency Assist in traffic control for work zones to maintain safety for workers and the public during construction activities Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs, adjustments, or site setup tasks as needed Follow all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations for commercial truck driving and transportation safety standards Support roadway maintenance efforts by operating heavy equipment in accordance with project specifications and safety protocols Skills Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, front loader trucks, and paving equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshoot equipment issues Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and manual handling techniques on construction sites Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to commercial truck driving and transportation safety practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor work environments Experience working on road construction projects within civil infrastructure roles or highway maintenance teams Familiarity with traffic control procedures for work zones to ensure safety during roadway operations Join us if you're passionate about construction and civil infrastructure!
