Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Excavator/Equipment Operator and become a vital part of building infrastructure that shapes communities! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes to perform excavation, grading, and utility work with precision and safety. Your expertise will ensure that construction projects progress smoothly while adhering to all safety regulations. Duties Operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform excavation tasks including trenching, grading, and site preparation in compliance with project specifications. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist with utility locating to accurately identify underground utilities before excavation begins. Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a secure work environment. Support construction utility work by installing or repairing underground utilities with precision. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks for accountability. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes in a construction setting. Knowledge of construction grading, excavation techniques, and site preparation processes. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures. Strong mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery. Experience in utility locating and working with underground utilities is highly desirable. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for commercial truck driving is preferred. Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 35.0 per week
