We need a loader operator to facilitate the site. Job Description Summary
  • Operate heavy and complex equipment requiring skill and the exercise of independent judgment.
  • Operate backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and/or other heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials.
  • Knowledge of the use and capabilities of heavy equipment and machinery, its safety and pre-operational checks as well as how to maintain the equipment in good working order.
  • Perform manual labor incidental to the assigned task.
  • Assist Plant Operator in coordinating materials handling and equipment usage.
Skills Needed:
  • Strong mechanical and fabrication skills, maintenance and repair work.
  • Working knowledge of electrical components and hazard detection/prevention.
  • Ability to keep records and make oral or written reports and simple arithmetic computations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, climb, bend, stoop, and squat frequently as well as work long hours outside in the elements.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds. Requirements
  • Two years of experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours.
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be reliable, hardworking and able to work in a team environment.
