Job Description

We are an American owned and family operated ready mix company which services over 6 counties in Central Ohio. The ownership has over 60 years of experience in ready mixed concrete and in the construction industry. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Loader Operator / Plant Laborer to join our team. Previous experience in the ready-mix or construction industry is preferred.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate various equipment including front-end loaders, skip loaders, forklifts, and man lifts Receive and inspect raw materials used in concrete production Maintain material inventory levels including stone, sand, cement, and other plant materials Perform general plant maintenance, housekeeping, and cleanup duties Assist with daily plant operations and complete tasks as assigned by management Communicate equipment or operational issues to management promptly Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work effectively in all weather conditions
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Previous loader or heavy equipment operating experience required Ready-mix or construction industry experience preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Basic computer and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to perform physical labor and work in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required Job Type Full-time Pay $25.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Referral program Free uniforms Schedule Day shift Monday through Friday Weekend availability as needed
