Overview Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Boat Yard Logistics & Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role is a mix of active, outdoor physical labor and yard coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring our vessels are pristine, safely moved, and ready for our clients. From operating specialized machinery to high-powered pressure washing, you will keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Logistics & Movement:

Assist with the coordination, loading, unloading, and staging of boats within the yard and all Heated Storage Buildings. Help guide trailer movements and support seasonal boat launches and haul-outs.

Pressure Washing & Detailing:

Use high-pressure washing equipment to clean hulls, remove marine growth, and prepare surfaces for maintenance or delivery. Perform detailed exterior washdowns.

Yard Maintenance:

Keep the dock and yard environments clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe working environment. Complete general labor duties as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Work alongside mechanics, detailers, and yard supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and spend 8+ hours on your feet walking, bending, and climbing in an outdoor environment.

Equipment Experience:

Prior experience with pressure washers or outdoor power tools is required. Experience with or willingness to learn forklift and tractor operations is a strong plus.

Boating Familiarity:

Comfort working around water and moving vessels. A valid driver's license is required.

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
