As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in our vehicle dismantling process, operating heavy machineryespecially Volvo Front End Loadersto assist with the removal and organization of vehicles and parts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their skills in a stable, team-oriented workplace. Experience is valued, but we are willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment, with a focus on Volvo Front End Loaders, to move and organize vehicles and materials on site Assist in the dismantling of vehicles, focusing on removal rather than diagnosis or reassembly Work closely with the production team to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient workflow Follow all safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs Support other team members as needed to achieve daily production goals Qualifications Experience operating heavy machinery preferred; Volvo Front End Loader experience is a plus Willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training Ability to work full-time, including any 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday (MondaySaturday 8am5pm, Sunday 10am4pm) Valid drivers license preferred Commitment to safety and teamwork The ability to operate Sellick Forklift with Stinger, Volvo L90, in addition to a tow truck Compensation $16.50$18.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and supplemental insurance Employee discount Optional Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid holidays and paid time off Bonus pay program
