Oversize Load Handler / Heavy Equipment Operator (40/60 Lift) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Oversize Load Handler / Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a 40/60 lift for the loading, unloading, transportation, and staging of large HVAC systems and other oversized industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling heavy, high-value loads in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 40/60 lift to load, unload, transport, and position oversized HVAC units and related equipment. Move large and heavy materials throughout the facility, yard, and loading areas. Ensure proper load balancing, rigging, and secure handling procedures are followed at all times. Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Work closely with shipping, receiving, production, and logistics teams to coordinate equipment movement. Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations. Accurately complete equipment inspection reports and load movement documentation.
