Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate haul trucks to safely transport raw materials within the plant or quarry. Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment. Monitor material loads to ensure proper placement and volume. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations. Support plant operations by assisting with general labor tasks as needed. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Strong awareness of safety procedures and hazard recognition. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting. Willingness to work in varying weather and site conditions. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
