Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Track Hoe & Dozer Operator to join the growing company. Topcon Gps is a plus but not mandatory. Ideal operator is to be able to operate dozer and trackhoe. Motels and perdiem is provided. Previous jobs will be checked for references. Responsibilities Operate track hoe (excavator) and dozer (bulldozer) equipment safely and efficiently to perform earthmoving tasks, grading, trenching, and site leveling. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, and other heavy equipment. Support construction activities such as paving, horizontal drilling, tanker operations, and site excavation projects. Follow detailed project plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Maintain a clean work environment by ensuring machinery is properly stored and work areas are clear of hazards. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks. Proven experience operating construction machinery in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical diagrams. Valid commercial driver's license with experience driving heavy equipment or related vehicles such as Caterpillar machinery. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Skilled in horizontal drilling techniques and tanker operations is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining high safety standards.
